Winter is arriving and we’ve closed our luxury sea view villas for a few months to take a bit of a breather and recharge our batteries for next summer. 2016 was another fabulous season here in Panormos Bay, Mykonos, and we’re already excitedly looking forward to summer 2017, and the new things we have planned for the new year. Weddings & Events in Mykonos in 2017
It’s always a joy for us to host a wedding in Mykonos at our luxury sea view villas. Watching a couple celebrate their love for one another in the beautiful surroundings of Panormos bay with their family and friends is a magical experience for us, and one we cherish. For 2017, we’re looking forward to welcoming several couples to our villas for their Mykonos wedding, and we’ve got parties from all over the world coming to celebrate their events in Mykonos at our villas, including a some groups of bachelors and bachelorettes!

We thought we’d give you a little sneak peak into what a luxury wedding in Mykonos looks like, so here’s a breakdown of what one of our lucky couples have planned for their Mykonos wedding at Mykonos Panormos Villas in 2017!
On the Friday before their wedding they’ll be starting with a boat cruise to a small island just off Mykonos where they’ll be enjoying a barbecue, and then returning to a cocktail reception in lively Mykonos town with their guests. The big wedding day itself will start with a blessing at the gorgeous Agios Sostis chapel overlooking the sea, followed by canapes and drinks on Agios Sostis beach, only a short distance from Mykonos Panormos Villas. Then it’s off to a taverna beach bar on Ftelia beach for the wedding reception and dinner, and lots of partying and dancing well into the night making the most of the lovely Mykonos summer. The day after the wedding day will be a lazy day for the whole wedding party, with the newlyweds holding a brunch for 120 or so guests on the pool veranda of the spacious (and it’s just as well too) 5 bedroom villa with private pool. The rest of the day will be spent chilling out and sunbathing by the villa’s private pool and admiring the great sea views of Panormos bay with some relaxed partying on Panormos beach right below the villas too. Our couple chose Mykonos Panormos Villas because they were looking for luxury sea view villas in Mykonos that could accommodate all their friends and family, as well as offering all the wedding party guests some privacy in a great location where they could make the most of their time together. After the bride and groom had spent so many years enjoying Mykonos themselves, they can’t wait to share some of the Mykonos magic – including the food, the sights, the beaches, the Greek dancing, and of course the weather – with their nearest and dearest!
Yoga Holiday Breaks in Mykonos in 2017
Mykonos Panormos Villas has successfully hosted Zoi’s first Yoga Heaven Mykonos Retreat in September this year and we can’t wait to welcome more yoga lovers back to Mykonos Panormos Villas in 2017! The group of women who attended the inaugural yoga retreat at Mykonos Panormos Villas enjoyed practicing yoga in the autumn sunshine in the wide open spaces by our villa’s sea view private pools and also on peaceful beaches like Agios Sostis. Zoi has already planned her next Yoga Heaven Mykonos Retreat with us for the 13th April 2017, with the talented yoga instructors Isabel and Jessica from Hamburg. Not only will visitors get to take part in some fabulous yoga in beautiful surroundings, but they’ll also get the rare opportunity to experience a Greek Orthodox Easter in Mykonos which falls on Sunday 16th! What’s more, we’re offering special early bird offers for guests who book early too. There are several other yoga breaks planned with us for May, September and October 2017 too, involving yoga groups from the UK, Germany and the USA to name but a few. 2017 Family Holidays in Mykonos
Mykonos has a lot to offer for a family holiday, and we’ve got a great range of luxury and spacious sea view villas the whole family are sure to love. Families will appreciate the comprehensive facilities at our villas, all of which feature fully equipped kitchens. Mykonos has loads of fun holiday sports and activities to offer young families and kids too. There’s a fabulous choice of watersports activities like waterskiing, parasailing and tube rides on Mykonos’ beautiful beaches, not to mention kitesurfing and windsurfing, and diving and snorkeling too! Sea kayaking is another great fun family activity in Mykonos, allowing the whole family to spend a day at sea and exploring some caves. Kids with a sense of adventure will love activities like 4×4 Jeep safaris, bicycle tours, and horse riding, plus there’s go-karting in Mykonos too. Budding young historians will love the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos, and will find a day trip discovering the ancient wonders of Delos truly unforgettable.
